Best Golf Resort and Course in
Asia
Awarded ‘Best Golf Resort’ and ‘Best
Golf Course’ in Asia by a panel of experts
from Asian Golf Monthly magazine who stated, “Le
Méridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort is
unmistakably Bali through and through and you don’t
for a minute think you’re anywhere else in
the world. Most importantly, you do not want to
be anywhere else in the world.” Breathtaking
Location
On Bali’s magnificent southwest coast, with
breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean and Tanah
Lot Temple, the resort’s 278 beautifully
designed and luxuriously appointed rooms set in
a hundred-hectare property give guests an exhilarating
feeling of spaciousness and of having an affinity
with the natural surroundings of rice terraces,
lushly landscaped gardens and pools. The view
from the lobby takes in the crashing surf and
rice terraces. The seat of Bali’s mystical
culture is just next-door where the enchanting
Tanah Lot sea temple is perched on a rocky outcrop.
Guest rooms and suites all feature large balconies
with views of the Indian Ocean, golf course or
gardens. The views at dusk there are spectacular.
Nirwana Bali Golf Club
The award-winning, Greg Norman-designed golf course
is stunning and challenging 6,775 yards from the
Shark tees, par 72. Losing a ball in this quintessentially
Balinese setting is standard, but the exhilaration
of taking on the course is exceptional. Facilities:
Pro Shop; Golfers’ Terrace Restaurant; Halfway
House; Driving Range; Club and Shoe Rental; Mandatory
Carts; and friendly female Balinese caddies.
