Bali’s barefoot playground and fashionable

Along the Legian and Seminyak immaculate stretch of beaches is where Bali’s beautiful people live, shop, dine and party. Just north of Kuta, the area is a busy centre for European tourists, reflecting the island’s growing reputation as one of the world’s top international resort destinations.   Shopping in the Legian and Seminyak area provides a unique insight into the local fashion scene, its few square kilometres long established as a source for innovative Bali creations. Biasa, Paul Ropp and Gecko Leather are just several of the big name fashion outlets in the neighbourhood featuring original and beautiful

 

Its extravagant private villas, spacious and glittering restaurants and stylish upmarket hotels like the architecturally distinctive The Legian make function organisers look to this area for inspiration in planning events - the ideal balance of seclusion and sociability.

It is in Legian and Seminyak where some of the most breathtaking resorts, intimate villa retreats and most talked about restaurants and nightspots are located in close proximity to some of Bali’s most elegant hotels. The five-star The Oberoi Bali, with its thatch-roofed function rooms and lanai villas, is an attractive venue away from urban distractions.

Hotel Padma Bali, a luxurious village-style hideaway with extensive MICE facilities, is set amidst extravagant gardens. Fronting a wide swath of Legian Beach, The Royal Seminyak, managed by Accor, is undergoing a major upgrading to be finished in June 2004.
